- Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Atlas Elektroniks UK LTD, Meadows Road, Newport, NP19 4SS, GBR for four (4) Hull Penetrators. This requirement is sole sourced for the following reason. The Electro Optical Hull Penetrator is proprietary to Atlas Elektroniks. NSWC PCD has no legal right to the drawings. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N61331-08-T-3525. Simplified Acquisition Procedures is the method of award for this procurement. The NAICS code is 335921 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The order shall be firm fixed priced with a period of performance from the issuance of award through 30 May 2008. The expected award date is 2 May 2008. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. Delivery terms for this requirement are FOB Destination. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractors EFT information contained in the CCR database. The NSWCPC has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area. Therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available at http://nswcpc.navsea.navy.mil/contracts/ztable/open_actions.html. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCPC web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
