- Project Title: North Fork Teton and Pike Creek Road Closure Gate Replacement - This project consists of the furnishing and installing of eight (8) road closure gates. One (1) road closure gate is located at Pike Creek Road # 8958. The remaining seven (7) road closure gates are located along the North Fork Teton Road # 144. Also, four (4) guardrail posts will be replaced at WF Teton Bridge. The project also includes the removal of ten (10) existing closure gates and the removal of four (4) existing damaged guardrail posts. Location: North Fork Teton road closure gate installation and guardrail post replacement is located on the Rocky Mountain Ranger District, Lewis and Clark National Forest. The site is located approximately 29 miles Northwest of Choteau, Montana via Forest Road 144. Pike Creek is accessed by taking U.S. Highway 2, 25 miles Southwest of Browning, Montana. Turn South on Forest Road 8958, and proceed approximately 2 miles to the closure gate. No pre-bid tour will be conducted. The solicitation will be available on approximately 22 August 2008 and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
