Description

Per FAR 12.603(c)(2)(i), The Information Technology/Information Management Application Integration and Business Intelligence Division (NAWCAD 7.2.2) has a requirement to purchase integrated data management and analysis software. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes hereby are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement will require: 12 processor licenses of brand name Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition 64 bit version and 8 user licenses of brand name Red Gate Software’s SQL Compare Professional. Software maintenance and software assurance are to be included. Period of Performance is to be one year from the date of award. Delivery terms are to be stated with quote, FOB Destination is anticipated. Solicitation Number N00421-08-T-0109 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. In reference to 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price being the only factor considered. The offeror will include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and included by reference is 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. Additional contract requirements or terms and conditions necessary for this acquisition are as follows: DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A, Central Contractor Registration.
