- Description
- The Army Reserve Contracting Center East (ARCCE) intends to solicit and award the acquisition of the rehabilitation of the Brindle Lake Dam, located on Beaver Brook in Plumstead Township, Ocean County, New Jersey. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, transportation and equipment associated with: the removal of existing timber spillway and replacement with a concrete spillway, installation of a new level outlet pipe and gate, installation of a timber bulkhead, raising of the embankment with earth-fill and incidental related work shown on the contract drawings. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237990. The proposed action is for a nine month, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This acquisition will be set aside for competition restricted to HUB Zone small business concerns, as verified on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA), IAW FAR 19.1305. The solicitation will be posted on or about 15 August 2008 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The solicitation will include Federal Acquisition Regulation contract provisions, a bid schedule and performance work statement. The performance work statement will include details of required work elements. It is the responsibility of offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov.
