- Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Upgrade Phase II: Astro 25 Single Site ARC 4000 Controller 436th Contracting Squadron, Dover AFB DE intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Motorola, 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive, 3rd Floor, Columbia, Maryland, 21046. This acquisition is sole source. The equipment/service to be procured is the upgrade of the land mobile radio trunking system. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334220. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete quote, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated award date is on or about 12 September 2008. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, 22 August, 2008.
