- Description
- Work involves an approximate 250 feet extension on an existing Rock Grade Control Structure (RGCS). The existing RGCS length is approximately 750 feet and made from 33 inch minus rock. The RGCS is for protection of a natural island on the Snake River. The excavated material shall be hauled away from the site and disposed of in a legal manner. There will also be some topographic survey work in this contract. This survey will be on the before and after site conditions. Solicitation No. W912EF-08-B-0010 will be posted to the FBO website on or about August 21, 2008. Bids will be opened no sooner than 30 calendar days after actual solicitation issuance date. The bid opening date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. A site visit will be offered approximately 2 weeks after the solicitation is made available to bidders. See solicitation for details about the site visit. Solicitation is open to both large and small business concerns. NAICS code for this project is 237990, and the small business size standard is $33,500,000 average annual receipts. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.
