- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department intends to negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor is Beta Systems of Virginia, Inc., 3740 Cook Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23323-1604. The contractor shall provide (2) Digitize 3505 Control Units, (2) Battery Chargers, (2) Network Options, (2) TCI-Option (Form Four Monitoring), (2) SST-3000, 35000, 3505 Option, and (1) Labor for final panel connections, programming and training as required by Commander Navy Region Mid-Lant, Norfolk. FOB point is destination. The basis for the use of other than full and open competition is that Beta Systems of Virginia, Inc. is the only authorized dealer of Digitize, Inc. in Virginia. The existing equipment is Digitize, Inc. The applicable NAICS Code is 561621; the small business size standard is $11.5 Million. A complete RFQ package is available by downloading the documents at the Neco Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials or owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerrors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make the contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ at anytime prior to award.
