- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to issue a solicitation to The Boeing Company for Design Agent and Technical Engineering Services in support of the AN/USQ-82(V) Gigabit Ethernet Data Multiplex System (GEDMS) Program. This requirement includes Design Agent and technical engineering services for product improvements, engineering change development, technical documentation updates, development of interface design documents, installation support, logistics (including configuration management), and land based test sites and house system support. It will be issued directly to The Boeing Company, 5301 Bolsa Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647. Boeing is the only source with the knowledge of design, development and production of AN/USQ-82 (V) GEDMS capable of providing the required engineering services. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Boeing directly. A five (5) year period of performance is anticipated.
