- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase the following item limited to Germane Systems LC located at 3680 Centerview Dr. Ste 100, Chantilly, VA 20151-1647 or its authorized resellers for six (6) each of 3U Server P/N 71591-01 GS3410-L-M06 Rev 1. Germane Systems is the sole manufacture of the required servers. This item will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date will be 14 August 2008 at 2:00PM ET with an anticipated award date of 15 August 2008. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS THE ITEM IS IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. Electronic quote submission is encouraged to roberta.a.sanford@navy.mil, but the quote may also be faxed to (540)653-4089. Please reference RFQ N00178-08-Q-2085.
