- Description
- Military Sealift Command (MSC) intends to modify Contract N00033-03-D-8002 to incorporate FAR 52.217-8 to allow MSC the option to extend services by up to six (6) months. The estimated value of this modification (should the Contract be extended by six (6) months) is $11,400.00. Under this Contract, Beach Panel and Controls of Chesapeake, VA provides services to develop a standardized modular Shipboard Security Module (SSM) System that integrates force protection equipment for shipboard use. The Contract also provides the associated training, logistics, technical support, spares, and related material to support follow-on shipboard installations. This modification will be completed on an other-than-full-and-open competition basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(B) implemented at FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information about the capabilities of other companies will be considered.
