Description

The issue date for the following solicitation is August 11, 2008. The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from prequalified general contractors for HVAC Upgrade at the Bakersfield, CA P&DC. Completion of this project is 180 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed and has an estimated cost range of $4,000,000 to $4,200,000. A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 10:00 am at the site (meet at the lobby). Offers will not be publicly opened. All proposal information will remain confidential until award. Subcontractors may contact Barker Blue to order copies of the solicitation or drawings via the ePlanroom, by email to plotting@barkerblue.com or by fax to 650-696-2199. The prequalified general contractors are: A&P Dev & Const Inc; Abeam Const Inc; Adams Mallory Const Co Inc; All Star Services Corp; Athena Eng Inc; Harry H Joh Const Inc; Keith KC Lee Inc; Lindseth Const Inc; Staples Const Co Inc; and The OK Earl Corp dba Earl Corp. No additions will be made to the list of selected contractors for this project.
