- Description
- This notice modifies the previous notice issued. The following information is revised: All dredged material shall be removed mechanically by clamshell bucket 15,000 CY disposed of at the Rhode Island Sound Disposal Site about 43 nautical miles (one way) and the remaining 19,6000 CY disposed in the near shore disposal area about 7 nautical miles (one way). Dredge window will start October 1. The contractor must have dredging equipment on-site to initiate dredging within 30 days of the notice to proceed, prosecute the work diligently, and complete the entire work ready for use not later than 14 January. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. Due to environmental restrictions dredging operations at the project site will only be permitted from October 1 through January 14.
