- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Reference No. 08ART0345. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. The NAICS code is 333319, size standard of 500 employees. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Artesia, New Mexico, has a requirement for the following: Vacuum Sweeper with short bed truck, to sweep trash and light street debris, with the following minimum requirements: 2 Cylinder Air Cooled Auxiliary Motor, 3 yard hopper for trash, rocks, sand, broken glass, and gravel, stainless steel hopper with lifetime guarantee, sweeper frame with lifetime guarantee, clean air blower, water dust control system, mounted on a truck chassis, Masco Model 1600 “Econo” Sweeper with F250 short bed truck, or equal. – 1 each. Freight/shipping charges shall be specified on the quote as a separate line item. Please provide detailed information and warranty information on items quoted. FAR Clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition. The following clauses are checked: 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-13 and 52.232-33. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the Provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
