- This is a sole source combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-08-T-0337 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest edition of the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued on an Total Small Business Set-A-Side basis (see Numbered Note 1), NAICS Code 561621. Point of Contact is Luis Navarro, Ph 904/270-5699 x156.STATEMENT OF WORKReplace camera system Bachelor Quarters, Building 822, Naval Air Station, JacksonviHe, FloridaSCOPE: Remove existing interior and exterior building security cameras, provide and install new cameras and equipment as follows. Remove 58 existing interior cameras and replace with 71 high resolution color vandal resistant dome cameras in intelior passageways. Relocate cameras from existing ceiling mounted locations in passageways to wall mounted to provide better coverage area. Additional interior camera locations will be 1 additional camera in 2lld floor internet area between television lounge and vending room, 12 additional cameras, I each located in the foyer area passageway leading to the stairwell for A wing east and west, B wing and C wing. Remove 6 exterior pan-tilt cameras from east and west breezeways and provide 12 outdoor fixed enclosed vandal resistant color cameras 2.8-8 lens. 2 each exterior cameras to be mounted on each breezeway level at opposing ends to provide total coverage of areas. 6 each 19 inch LCD color monitors, 5 each 16 channel digital video recorders "vith minimum 250 GB memory, 6 each wall mounts for monitors. Existing parking lot monitor to be replaced with one of the new monitors. Existing digital recorder for parking lot cameras to be utilized for 6 of the breezeway cameras. Provide surge protection for all cameras, monitors and digital recorders.Existing cables and power supplies will be utilized for the new equipment. New cable and power supplies to be provided for additional equipment. New exterior cameras will be positioned to provide best view of areas to be covered. Monitors to be located on wall above lobby front desk. All digital recorders to be located in existing cabinet behind front desk.
