- Sources Sought Notice only.This is not a request for quotes or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. This is strictly for market research. Seeking Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), or other small businesses capable of providing laundry transport for the VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Biloxi, MS. The contractor shall furnish all their own labor (drivers) and vehicles (trucks/tractor trailers) to transport laundry between the VA GCVHCS - Biloxi, MS and Michael E. Debakey VAMC-Houston, TX. The contractor must possess all applicable licenses, insurance, and permits required to provide the services in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The NAICS code is 484121 and the small business size standard is $23.5 million. Responses to this notice should include the following: Name and address of company/provider (phone number and email of point of contact); indicate whether or not they are a small business and whether or not the contractor falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8 (a), HUBZone, Women, Veteran Owned, and/or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned; contractor's experience in providing transport and any other pertinent information which demonstrates contractor's ability to meet the above requirement including whether they possess their own trucks, etc. If this project is set-aside for SDVOSB or VOSB, 51 percent of services shall be provided by SDVOSB or VOSB.
