- SERVICING CHILLER PLANT REFRIGERATION PUMP DOWN / RECOVERY TANK UNIT SCOPE OF THE PROJECT The National Gallery of Art requires contractor to provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to decontaminate, chemically clean, monitor, test and evaluate existing nominal 14,000lb capacity refrigerant pump-down receiver / recovery tank unit and associated piping located in the Gallery’s West Building Basement Chiller Plant Mechanical Room B-1. Existing unit to be utilized to service existing 2000 Ton, R134a Standby Chiller also located in Gallery’s West Building Basement Chiller Plant Mechanical Room B-1. *A MANDATORY SITE VISIT IS BEING HELD ON AUGUST 14, 2008 AT 10:00 A.M. EDT. Offers will only be accepted by firms that attend the site visit. Only one site visit will be held. Interested offerors shall notify the Gallery of their interest in attending the site visit no later than 4:00 p.m. EDT on August 13, 2008. See the Attached RFP package for complete Statement of Work, special requirements, and terms and conditions. Or, contact Geoffrey Spotts, Contract Specialist at 202.842.6407, g-spotts@nga.gov. Due date for proposals: On or before 4:00 p.m. EDT on August 21, 2008. See RFP package for proposal submission instructions. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a small business set aside. Provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 05 026. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation factors are Certifications, Past Performance, Price. Offerors are advised to include in their proposal a completed copy of provision 52.121-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions--Commerical Items applies. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies.
