- This is a notice that the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate, under the authority of 41 U. S.C. 2304, a sole source purchase order with Arthrex Inc., 2885 South Horseshoe Drive, Maples, FL 34104 for the sole source purchase of SPD Arthroscopy instruments. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is VA261-07-RQ-0309 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an unrestricted solicitation and NAICS Code is 423450, with a size standard of 100 employees. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. Closing date for this notice is noon, pacific time August 14, 2008. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302.1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
