- PURCHASE A NEW BALANCE MACHINE WITH THE FOLLOWING FEATURES AND COMPONENTS: 1. The balance machine model: a base on floor. 2. The machine to support a minimum weight of rotor: 98 lb. 3. The machine to support a minimum weight per pedestal: 50 lb. 4. The machine to support a minimum diameter of rotor over bed: 20 inches. 5. The machine to support a minimum diameter of rotor over belt tensioner: 18 inches. 6. The machine to support a maximum length of rotor between bearing centers: 20 inches. 7. The machine to support a minimum distance between support bearing centerlines with belt drive inboard: 3.0 inches. 8. Sensitivity: Less than or equal 0.3 gmm/kg. 9. Accuracy (displacement of C.G): Less than or equal 10 micro inch. 10. Unbalance reduction ratio: 95% 11. Rated power of motor: AC motor with frequency drive, minimum 1Hp (0.75 KW) with minimum speed of 1200 rpm, dynamic braking, speed regulation +/-1%. 12. The machine to use an available on-site power source: 480VAC, 3 phase, 60Hz. 13. Inboard endless loop belt quantities: Minimum 3 ea. 14. Width of the belt: 0.5 inches. 15. Minimum one set of two end thrusts. 16. Minimum one set of two safety arms with negative load rollers. 17. Belt guide and belt tensioner, pneumatically or manually operated. 18. Photocell assembly with mounting bracket. 19. A safety shroud with inside lights required to prevent operator to contact a spinning rotor accidently and also to block small objects possibly ejected during the machine operation. 20. Electrical Cabinet, Computer with Control Console: - Operation System: Windows base software. - Ability to add additional Microsoft software drivers. - Minimum 2 USB ports. - Minimum 512KB RAM. - Color touch screen display monitor. - Minimum 1.5GHz or faster CPU. - DVD and CD-RW drives. - Minimum 1 serial port. - Minimum 80GB hard drive. - Emergency stop, start-stop switch, speed control potentiometer, internal power supply and transformer, all housed in and on an enclosure. 21. A LaserJet printer with ink cartridge(s) inside. 22. A turnkey machine installation which includes the following requirements: - Disconnect current electrical service from the existing balance machine. - Disconnect current shop air supply from the existing balance machine. - Remove and transport the existing balance machine to designated disposal location within the building.214. - Uncrate, transport to site, installation, leveling, anchoring and grouting of the new balance machine including all material. - Hookup the available electrical service, 480V, 3 ph, 60 Hz to the new balance machine. - Hookup the compressed air to the new machine if the machine is designed for the air operation. 23. Two days on site training for the use of the machine, preventive maintenance, and safety instruction must be provided by an experienced service engineer. 24. Options: Tools, calibration equipment and balance master if applicable. Numbered Note 1 is applicable
