- VA Healthcare-VISN 4 network is seeking potential sources for continuous survey readiness for all standards, clinical and administrative, in The Joint Commission accreditation manuals. These services would encompass multiple on-site consultative visits to ten hospitals located in PA, DE, and WV. Education workshops must be provided to network staff, and access two educational audioconferences pertaining to Joint Commission requirements. Thorough knowledge and facilitation with all Joint Commission standards required to provide expert services, inclusive of national patient safety goals, provision of care, infection control, medical staff functions, human resources, leadership, performance improvement, environment of care, and medication management. This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hubzone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 541618 (size standard $6,5 million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company name, a service capability statement, three customer references to which you have provided similar services to, address, point of contact, and DUNS number. If your business is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business please insure that the company is register in Vetbiz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. If Items are available on a Federal Supply Schedule please indicate the contract #. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed. Other supporting material may be mailed to the attention of Toni Wilson, Contract Officer, at The VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805. E-mail address is Toni.Wilson@va.gov. Telephone inquires will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than August 14, 2008 at 10a.m. EST. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of future solicitations.
