- (i) THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will has been issued on the NAVAIR Solicitation website (www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/). (ii) This solicitation number N68335-08-R-0214 is issued as a competitive request for proposals (RFP) from Motorola and it’s authorized distributors. (iii) Procurement will be via limited competition as cited in FAR part 6.302-1 under authority of USC 2304(c) (1). The Government requires the brand name equipment. (iv) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS) are listed in full text in the SF 1449 attached to this combined synopsis/solicitation. (v) Contractors must be CCR registered. For more information contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center (RAC), at 888-227-2423 or for CCR registration at: http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. (vi) Proposals are due by 2:00pm EST, 21 August. You may e-mail your proposal to karin.weinert@navy.mil or mail it to her at the following address: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts Dept. Bldg 562 Attn: Karin Weinert, Highway 547, Lakehurst NJ 08733. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation will be be posted on the NAVAIR solicitation website. Hard copies of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and Amendments will NOT be mailed to contractors.
