- (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, the test program in FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued under Request for Quotation (RFQ) number W901UZ-08-T-0031. All proposals shall reference the RFQ number and shall be submitted by 8:00 A.M. local time on 13 Aug 2008. The anticipated award date is 20 Aug 2008. (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-26 dated 12 June 2008. (IV) This acquisition is a total set aside for small business concerns, however, if no small business quotes are received a contract may be awarded to a Large Business. The North American Industry Classification system code (NAICS) 531130 size standard of 23.5. COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: The North Dakota Army National Guard has a requirement for eight (8) each 20x8x8 Steel Dry Storage Containers with a single or double door at one end. Comparable to NSNs 8145-01-527-2880 or 8145-01-527-3063. The color of the containers is not relevant but the containers must be new and not refurbished. If vendor quotes refurbished containers, the quote will not be considered. All quotes must include shipping. Incorporate the shipping cost of the eight containers for shipment to the following address: 426 SIG NET SPT CO,3920 31st ST NW, Suite A, Fargo, ND 58102-6206. The following provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial (IX) FAR 52.212-2, This RFQ will be awarded to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. The offer who meets or exceeds all the specifications of the containers listed above and provides the lowest price will be awarded the contract with small businesses consideration. (X) FAR 52.212-3 (Alt 1), Offerors Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items (XI) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: Commercial Items.
