Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared and processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. The U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Oceanic Atmospheric and Administration (NOAA), and the National Weather Service (NWS) intends to solicit for purchase intends to solicit for purchase of following items: 1) 5 each, Power Divider, 2-Way, 449 MHZ, Lockheed Martin P/N 1232101-201, NSN: 5895-01-453-7955; 2) 5 each, Power Divider, 4-Way, Type 1-201, 449 MHZ, Lockheed Martin P/N 1232012-204, NSN: 5895-01-480-9190; 3) 5 each, Power Divider, 4-Way, Type 2, 449 MHZ, Lockheed Martin P/N 1232012-205, NSN: 5895-01-480-9185; and 4) 5 each, Power Divider, 4-Way, Type 1, 449 MHZ, Lockheed Martin P/N 1233012-206, NSN: 5895-01-480-9183. KDI Triangle Electronics P/N CL-K44S is the only approved source of supply known to provide these items. The power divider subassemblies are a part of the power distribution network for the wind profiler antenna subsystems. These items are being purchased for the National Weather Service, to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. This item supports the National Weather Service (NWS) spare parts program. This requirement shall be considered a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this action is 339999. The Government will require first article testing under this requirement. The NWS special packaging/marking requirement will be applicable. Any small business sources, able to provide the exact make and model of the equipment reference herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 calendar days after its publication. Delivery will be on a FOB Destination Basis. This constitutes the only Request for Quotation (RFQ) written offers are being requested; and a written RFQ will not be issued. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No. NWWA1200844227KLC. This RFQ and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-25. The FAR clauses incorporated into this acquisition shall be the following: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2007), 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jun 2008) (Sections 5, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 24, 28, 31, 36). The FAR provisions incorporated into this acquisition by reference are as follows: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jun 2008) and 52.247-35 F.O.B. Destination, within Consignee's Premises. Any small business sources are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 calendar days after its publication. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this request to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforming to the RFQ meets or exceeds the RFQ requirements. This is a firm-fixed solicitation. This is a 100% small business set-aside requirement. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333999. All contractors doing business with the Central Region Acquisition Division (CRAD) must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
