Description
SOURCES SOUGHT TERRORIST VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENTS and SECURITY ENGINEERING SERVICES The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Engineering Service Center (NAVFAC ESC), Antiterrorism Services Team (CI66), Port Hueneme, CA, is soliciting small business sources who have an interest in providing services related to antiterrorism to include performing quantitative vulnerabilities and risk assessments, blast analysis, force protection studies, security engineering studies, security workshops, test and evaluation of security hardware, security GIS mapping, and other security/antiterrorism related services. The applicable NAICS code to be used in the small business determination is 541690-Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services-Security Consulting Services. The process used to perform the assessments and other studies will be provided and controlled by the Government. The services may be performed in any location worldwide. For additional technical information regarding this solicitation, contact Mr. Aaron A. Glazier at (805) 982-2392 and Mr. Victor Vella at (805) 982-4817. Respondents should provide the following information: Name/address of company, company point of contact with phone/fax number (email address if available). The preferred method for submitting information is first by phone call, then if additional information is requested by the Government we will ask that you mail it to NAVFAC ESC Antiterrorism Services Team (Victor A. Vella), 1100 23rd Avenue, Port Hueneme, CA 93043. The information should be submitted no later than August 21, 2008. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED SOLELY ON THE BASIS OF THE RESPONSE HERETO, OR ON FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION SUBSEQUENTLY SOUGHT. NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING THIS INFORMATION WILL BE MADE. THIS NOTICE IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ULTIMATELY ISSUE AN IFB, RFP, RFQ, OR CONTRACT.
