THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUES A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Market Research is being conducted to identify potential offerors capable of providing base operating services. The anticipated services are:Naval Health Clinic Maintenance: Maintenance, repairs and alterations for NHCLQ/DC and related systems and equipment. Work includes service call work, preventative maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, direct digital control system, medical gas system, intrusion detection system. National Museum of the Marine Corps: Maintenance, repairs and alterations for NMMC and related systems and equipment. Work includes service call work, preventative maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, direct digital control system, janitorial, refuse removal, elevator maintenance, grounds maintenance and security guard service.Generator maintenance: maintenance, repair, inspection, testing, service calls and component replacement as required to maintain three generator systems in accordance with the manufacturers original specifications. Grease Traps maintenance. Indefinite Quantity work for cleaning and inspection of oil/water separators, disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous oily waste and contaminated soil by means of indefinite quantity contract; and pumping, hauling, and disposal of septic tank and holding privy contents. HVAC Maintenance for Pool at Ramier Hall: Work includes service call work, preventative maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.Pistol Range Duct Work maintenance: Inspect and provide mechanical cleaning of the HVAC Systems (includes lead abatement). Telemetry maintenance: maintain service and calibrate the water and wastewater telemetry systems, WWTP SCADA system, WWTP instrumentation, and WWTP computer system.Cathodic Protection Systems for Water Towers: Provide Cathodic protection services for water tanks.Storm Water Management Structures Maintenance: Recurring inspection and performance of maintenance on permanent storm water management systems and components, including but not limited to: dry ponds, wet ponds, extended dry ponds, biofiltration ponds, filterra units paved and unpaved ditches.Pest Control: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary to perform both indefinite quantity and fixed price pest control services for the Quantico Marine Corps Base.The following are the indefinite quantity line items: power washing, carpet installation, flood clean-up (carpet cleaning/restoration), duct cleaning, asbestos, mold, lead paint abatement and painting.We are looking for firms that have experience with high profile buildings with public access, ability to manage numerous sub contractors and experience providing HVAC maintenance. Consideration of Contractor capability will be based upon the following criteria: 1. Past Performance with similar facilities, reference contact information, location of project, type of contract and dollar amount. 2. Summary of services and capabilities. 3. List of offices (both full service and satellite) and number of people in each office. 4. Number of years project experience. Identify your firms business type in accordance with the Small Business Administration Classification system (Section 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Small Business or Large business, etc.). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210 Facilities Support Service. Small Business Size Standard $32.5 million annual receipts. Total Estimated Value $5 to 10 million per year. Performance Period One year base contract with four 1-year option periods and five possible award-option years. Proposed Contract Firm Fixed-Price/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Base Operating services. Interested parties shall submit the requested information by close of business on 8/25/08.
