Description
NSN 4320-01-796-2191. Seal Assembly, Final Drive Output Shaft. Estimated yearly quantity is 400; unit of issue is each. I/A/W Caterpillar, Inc. (06YY8) part number 132-0715; John Crane, Inc. (71724) part number CF-SP-79244 and drawing number 19207 7962191; baasic dated 9/14/06; Amend Nr D dated 5/27/97. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN for the various end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4320. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 18 Aug 2008 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for a 1B source controlled drawing item. This acquisition is for supplies for which the procurement is restricted to source(s) on "Source Control" drawing; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U. S. C. 2304(c)(1). This solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted and other than full and open competition. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period four times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
