Description
This publication serves as a presolicitation notice that U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will issue an Invitation For Bids (IFB) for Madison County Mine Superfund Site. This requirement is subject to availability of funds and restricted for Small Business. Also, EPA will be utilizing procedures under FAR PART 14 Sealed Bidding and the North American Industry Classification Standard (NAIC) code 562910. Therefore, the purpose of the FedBizOpps announcement is to notify bidders of EPA's requirement and to direct interested parties to the EPA's Business Opportunities with EPA Internet World Wide Website at http://www.epa.gov/oam/region/index.htm where the IFB will be posted in the near future. As it becomes available, information regarding this procurement will be posted at http://www.epa.gov/oam/regions/index.htm. In an effort to streamline communication to the maximum extent possible, the subject IFB, amendments and other related items for this procurement will be posted at this same site. Bidders must download the IFB and related documents from the internet as no printed copies will be available. The contract Type to be awarded will be a IDIQ Fixed Rate performance based contract to the responsive and responsible bidder offering lowest price to the U.S. Government. Proposed Work: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will issue an Invitation For Bids (IFB) to address lead-contaminated soil at residential properties at the Madison County Mines Superfund site. Under an Interim Record of Decision (ROD), this work will affect approximately 780 residential properties, which are located across Madison County in Missouri. EPA anticipates issuing a IDIQ Fixed Rate performance based contract consisting of a Base Year and 2 Options Years which may contain incentives for performance of these services. Estimated dollar value for this procurement if all Option Years and Option Quantities are exercised is $15,000,000.00 ($15M). The IFB is anticipated to be issued in the near future. The IFB will be posted at www.epa.gov/oam/regions/index.htm. Also, EPA will be utilizing procedures under FAR PART 14 Sealed Bidding.
