- The VA VISN 15 Contracting Office is soliciting quotes to provide all necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary to provide the Trash removal from dumpsters in support of Environmental Management Services for Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Leavenworth,KS. All work will be performed in strict accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract period which will run from 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009 for the base year and four subsequent option years if exercised by the Government (2013). This will be a commercial item procurement under FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) utilizing Request for Quote solicitation procedures. This procurement will be full and open competition to all businesses under NAICS code 562111. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or around 8/4/2008, with a due date of 08/28/2008, and an anticipated award date of 09/30/2008. The solicitation package along with any amendments will only be provided electronically through the Government's Point of Entry.
