Does this apply to all concrete structures being removed?>>>> **ANSWERS TO SITE VISIT QUESTIONS POSTED****Solicitation amendment FA8601-08-R-0039-0001 has been posted. This amendment provides detail on the date, time and location of the site visit for this project.** Request For Proposal is attached with all specifications, drawings and the wage determination for this project. MODIFIED TO READ AS: This is an UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. Full and Open Competition. The contractor must be registered in the CCR prior to award of contract. Registration may be completed via the DUNNS+CCR website: http://www.ccr.gov/. NAICS: 237130, SIZE STANDARD $31M. This requirement is for the removal and replacement of transformers at Substation B (project 030026), and remove and replace transformers and bus duct at facility 20145 (project 070014), both located in Area B, Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Project scope includes the removal of several 69kV power transformers, 15 KV switchgears, 69kV circuit breakers and considerable structural steel at the locations. New work consists of installing new 69kV 25MVA power transformers, installing new 15 KV switchgear, installing new control relays, relocating a 69kV circuit breaker, reconfiguring 69kV bus, providing new concrete structural pads, and reworking the structural pads, and reworking the structural steel and miscellaneous work as shown on the project drawings. This is extremely specialized medium voltage work. The sites of the work will be at Substation B and facility 20145 located in Area B, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. A Request for Proposal is anticipated to be used. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 NOTES: 1. The solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be available on the WWW on or about 15 July 2008. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be provided; however, you may download and print the file from the World Wide Web (www) at:https://fbo.gov/ 2. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. It will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 3. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation. Bids will not be publicly opened. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to show the bidder's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time proposals are due. 4. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.
