- Description
- The Scope of Work shall generally involve a geodetic survey and positioning of existing airfield conditions including location of NAVAIDS, Runway Ends, helipad center, vertical profiles of runways/helipads, and creation of an airfield obstruction chart. A combination of Global Positioning System (GPS) surveying, aerial-photogrammetric mapping, and conventional surveying to complete FAA 405 Airport Obstruction Surveys to FAA and USAASA standards is normally the accepted standard. The survey will be conducted and obstruction chart will be updated in accordance with FAA Number 405, Fourth Edition (1996).
