- The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, using simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to Dr. Steven Byers, Ph.D., for assistance to the Office of Economic Analysis (OEA). The Contractor will work with SEC’s Economic Analysis employees to develop a market report of financial markets based on financial market databases to identify appropriate indicators and measures of market activity. The period of performance will be through December 31, 2008. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive bids; no solicitation will be used.
