- DESC: This is an annual requirement for bulk fuels AN8 and MUM in the Antarctic region. These requirements may increase during the delivery period and may be met by supplemental solicitations tied to SP0600-08-R-0095. Overseas Bulk Petroleum Procurement of Turbine Fuel, Aviation (AN8), NSN: 9130-01-373-0208 Specification MIL-DTL-83133E dated April 1, 1999, Quantity: 6,362,129 U.S. Gallons (USG), Purchase Program 1.1k and Gasoline, Auto, Midgrade, 89 Octane (MUM), NSN: 9130-01-272-0983 Specification ASTM D 4814, Quantity: 115,000 U.S. Gallons (USG), Purchase Program 1.1k. Delivery Period for above items under Purchase Program 1.1k is from December 1, 2008 through January 31, 2009, plus a 30-day carry-over period. The 30-day carry-over period allows for delivery of orders placed prior to the end of the ordering period. This solicitation will be available on the World Wide Web at www.fedbizopps.gov and http://www.desc.dla.mil on or about August 12, 2008. If you intend to submit an offer, you are requested to return a completed and signed "Offeror Submission Package" to the DESC Bid Custodian before the closing date and time to facsimile 703-767-0488. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
