Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) FA2521-08-T-0225. Oral responses will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Data (CCR) at (www.bpn.gov). This procurement is being issued a 100 % set-aside for Small Business participation only. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 811310 and Size Standard 650 million dollar annual receipt. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice 20080721. There will be three (3) contract line items, one job, for this solicitation. The contractor is to purchase, remove and install six (6) Hydraulic Dock Levelers, hot dip galvanized and install five (5) dock weather seal, located at the Base Commissary on Patrick AFB. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, tools, supplies, facilities, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to replace dock levelers. Contractor will be responsible for supplying forklift for unloading and installation of pit/dock levelers and removing and disposing of all old demolition materials from Patrick AFB. All quotes shall show breakdown of cost for all three (3) line items along with total amount of bid to reflect one lump sum to install dock levelers in accordance with Statement of Work listed below. Quotes shall be valid for 60 days after close of solicitations. Period of performance/excepted delivery date will be 60 days after the award of contract. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with the following: Line Item 0001- Six (6) each Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, tools, supplies, facilities, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to replace dock levelers. Contractor is to supply forklift for unloading and installation of pit/dock levelers and removing and disposing of all old demolition materials from Patrick AFB. Remove existing Kelley Hydraulic dock levelers and replace with Powerram VH-68, 6' x 8', 40k capacity, 20‖ lip, auto return to dock, hot dip galvanized (HDG), brush weather seal, vertical bumper VB420-11 HDG at dock locations 1,2,5,6, 7 and 8. MFG Powerramp P/N VH-68 or Equal Line Item 0002- Six (6) each Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, tools, supplies, facilities, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to replace dock levelers. Contractor is to supply forklift for unloading and installation of pit/dock levelers and removing and disposing of all old demolition materials from Patrick AFB. New pit construction with hot dip galvanized steel at pit locations, 1, 2,5,6,7 and 8 to be done for item 0001. Line Item 0003- Five (5) each Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, tools, supplies, facilities, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to replace dock levelers. Contractor is to supply forklift for unloading and installation of pit/dock levelers and removing and disposing of all old demolition materials from Patrick AFB. Install New Fairborn series 1000 dock weather seals at dock locations 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8. MFG: Fairborn P/N: Series 100 or Equal The provisions at FAR 52.212-2 -Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999)‖ apply to this acquisition. Insert in Para (a), -The following factors will be used to evaluate offers, (1) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and (2) price.
