- GSA FAS Network Services Division (7QTC) of the Greater Southwest Region (7) has awarded multiple contracts under the Metropolitan Local Services Acquisition (MLSA) Solicitation 7TF-07-0006 for the Albuquerque metropolitan award area. These contracts will be Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for local telephone service that includes analog business lines, analog centrex lines or centrex type service with minimum features, ISDN BRIs/PRIs, DOD/DID trunks, T-1s, T-3s, and other pertinent services. The contract period will consist of a base period of three years and five 12-month options. The awardees are Tanager Telecommunications NM, LLC (Contract #GS07T08BGD0004) and Qwest Government Services, Inc. (Contract #GS07T08BGD0005). The award date for the Albuquerque MLSA is July 28, 2008. The Notice to Proceed date is estimated for late September 2008. The New Orleans, Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio MLSA awards are still forthcoming.
