- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to procure the following items: Two hundred fifty (250) each Receptacle, RJ45, Size 16 Coupler CAT5E per TIS/EIA 568 Finish Electroless Nickel, Silicone O-Ring IAW 7922116-01 Part Number JTRJ45F-16NJSF; Two hundred ten (210) each Fiber JN RCPT 8 CHNL MIL Part Number M28876/11C1S1; One hundred sixty (160) each D55-Connectors Part Number M28840/14AB1P1. These particular items are required to ensure 100 percent compatibility with existing systems, ensure continuous development, and replicate existing systems. These items are required for critical developmental programs, no substitutes are acceptable. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2:00PM ET on 8 August 2008. The anticipated award date is 13 August 2008. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. Delivery shall be no longer than 30 days after award date. THE GOVERNEMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE.
