- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Item description is as follows: Paint Stripper - A viscous, benzyl alcohol emulsion type paint remover, designed for removal of polyurethane, polysulfide, and epoxy coatings from metal surfaces. Dual use, removes both top coat and polysulfide primers. Safe on aluminum, magnesium, steel, high strength steel, titanium and other structural metals. Nonflammable and Free-rinsing, minimal paint residues remain on surface. Contains no phenols, chromates, heavy metals, or chlorinated solvents. Paint Stripper should be approved by or conforms to US Airforce T.O. 1-1-8; US Navy TT-R-2918A Type 1 & 2, Lockheed Martin, Bell Helicopter; Grumman and AMS 1375. MSDS is required to be submtted with each offeror. Quantity 14 Carboys, 330 Gallon Drum. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. The solicitation number for the acquisition is FB206782069351 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-26. NAICS Code 454390.
