- TACOM-Warren proposes to solicit, negotiate and award modification P00003 to the exhisting contract number W56HZV-06-C-L515 on a sole source basis with Mattracks, Inc. of Karlstad, MN. The purpose of this procurement is to purchase product and services to improve the robustness of the MATTRACKS wheel-to-track conversion system and mature the existing T-43500 unmanned ground demonstrator that is in the current contract. The negotiated contract will be a firm fixed price for an 18 month performance period, with an estimated award value of $820,000.00. See numbered note 22. Except that any proposals you wish to submit per note 22 must be received by the point of contact by 5:00 p.m. eastern standard time on August 30, 2008. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
