Description
We are soliciting proposals for food service, and will accept for consideration any options which can range from a full service cafeteria to catered service to a variety of vending machines with fresh selections. We will consider breakfast, lunch and snack combination, lunch only, lunch and snacks only or proposals. Building hours are 6:00 AM to 6 PM, but we will consider any hours submitted. We can provide an area for distribution of off site prepared foods or a food preparation area can be rented. Area to be rented has previously been used for food prep., and has plumbing & electrical systems available. If this option is pursued, the successful vendor will be required to provide its own equipment and pay utilities. Employee surveys have indicated employees are looking for menu variety, fresh foods, healthy choices, advance notice on menus and daily specials, On-site food prep. will be subject to the Federal food and health inspections and guidelines. Many of the employees are on a compressed work week, with many having Mondays and/or Fridays off. Proposals for less that a five day week will be considered. An agreement will be issued for a term up to five years. The Government reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
