SOLICITATION NO. 301818Q372 56 - PROVIDE AND DELIVER CONSTRUCTION SUPPLIES TO THE U.S. FISH & WILDLIFE SERVICE, NECEDAH NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, NECEDAH, WISCONSIN CLARIFICATIONS OF SPECIFICATIONS DATED: 8/01/08 Please follow: WISDOT 305.2 Vendor Questions: 1. What is the size of the silt fence? Answers: The silt fence is 2 feet tall (30") tall. 2. Will the contractor have to deliver and install or just deliver? Answers: Delivery only! 3. Is the Rock just stockpiled at delivery site or spread? Answers: 1- inch Granular Base Rock quantity 3,100 cubic Yard (Compacted) per 305.2 DOT and will be (Tailgate Spread). 4. Are the PVC Pipe and aprons plastic or steel and will they be corrugated or rigid? Answers: PVC Pipe - High Density Polyethylene Pipe, Plastic and Aprons Need to be Galvanized Steel for end walls. Corrugated with a smooth liner. The dimensions of the pipe are inside the diameter. 5. What is the location of the site for delivery? Answers: Nencedah National Wildlife Refuge, located in Necedah Wisconsin, (Central Wisconsin about 180 miles southeast of Minneapolis and 150 miles NW of Milwaukee Wisconsin. The Refuge lies North of Highway 21 and west of highway 80 with all but a few acres of Juneau County. To reach the main entrance and Office complex: Travel 15 miles east on highway 21 from Interstate 94 at Tomah Wisconsin or about four miles West on Highway 21 from Necedah, Wisconsin.
