- Description
- The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Philips Medical Systems, North America Company, to provide maintenance on Philips surgical imaging equipment in the radiology and the main operating room at the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune's. The contractor shall provide premium maintenance for the radiographic unit, fluoroscopy system, the software, and the C-arm BV endura system. The contractor shall provide preventative maintenance and regular maintenance on the said equipment. The requirement will consist of one base year and four option years. Services shall start 1 0ctober 2008. This procurement will utilize procedures under FAR 13.5. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov. The RFQ should be posted on or before 12 August 2008. Number notes 22 applies.
