- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) has interest and is seeking 'Small Business' sources interested and capable of providing 'Operation and Maintenance' services for its Western Currency Facility (WCF), in Fort Worth, TX. The Contractor shall support BEP operations by providing operation and maintenance services (e.g., preventive maintenance, repairs and facility improvements) for the plant including all mechanical, electrical, utility and environmental systems 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The Contractor may also be called upon to accomplish minor remodeling or modifications within the building. All currency production equipment will be operated and maintained by BEP personnel. See attached Statement of Work/Performance Work Statement for more details pertaining to this notice. This is a 'Sources Sought' announcement only. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The BEP would like to review service literature and pricing for this service requirement as part of market research to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this service requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided by the Government.
