- Description
- This synopsis is for the renovation of U-2 Shelter (Bldg 1067) and minor construction of administrative building at Beale AFB, California. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, incidental works, and professional design as necessary to modify existing U-2 Aircraft Shelter 1067 to accommodate either one Global Hawk Aircraft in each bay or one U-2 aircraft in each bay. The Contractor shall also construct an approximately 1,600 to 2,000 square feet Administration facility adjacent to the shelter. A site visit will be scheduled approximately 15 days from the solicitation issue date. This is a HUBZone restricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236210. The small business size standard for this contract is $31 Million. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration(CCR) database and complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in CCR and complete the online representations and certification will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, recommend registering immediately to be eligible for award. The solicitation will be available on or about 14 August 2008. The solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov/. When the solicitation is posted, it can be viewed by going to the FedBizOpps web site.
