- Description
- This procurement will be 8(a) set-aside. The estimated value of this acquisition for the base period with all options is $8,000,000.00. The contract performance period includes one 12-month base period, four 12-month option periods, and five 12-month award-option periods. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 562219 & 562211. This intention of this requirement is to award a combination Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity contract to provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, vehicles, and equipment required to provide regular solid waste collection, disposal services and commercial recycling services from National Naval Medical Center and its tenant commands in Bethesda, MD, the United States Naval Observatory in Washington DC, the Naval Surface Warfare Center in West Bethesda, MD, Arlington Service Center in Arlington, VA, and various other location within a 100 mile radius of the Washington, DC. This is not a Request For Proposal (RFP) and the complete specification is not available at this time. All contractual and technical inquiries shall be submitted via electronic mail to robert.budlong@navy.mil. The RFP will involve Service Provider performance of various workload combinations of, but is not limited to, solid waste removal, recycling and composting, maintenance, repair, and servicing of various solid waste containers. Proposal evaluation will be in accordance with the procedures set forth in section M of the RFP. NOTE: A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held and the date, time and location will be provided with the RFP. NOTE: The apparent successful offeror must be registered in the Department of Defense Central contractor Registration (CCR) database. Award will not be made until this requirement is met. The government will not provide copies of the solicitation. You are required to monitor www.neco.navy.mil, by solicitation number, and download a copy. The solicitation will be available on or about August 10, 2008. The solicitation number is: N40080-06-R-4406.
