Description
COMMAND, COMMUNICATION, CONTROL, COMPUTERS, INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE AND RECONNAISSANCE (C4ISR), PHASE II NDUSTRY DAY On September 4, 2008 you are invited to an Industry Day at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, Wanamaker Building Crystal Tea Room (9th Floor), 100 Penn Square East, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This meeting encourages Small Business participation in projects for the construction of new/renovated buildings and site work related to Phase II of the C4ISR BRAC move to Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. To familiarize industry with all aspects of Phase II, there will be a presentation of the requirements, and a question and answer period. The C4ISR Program Manager, Project Managers, Design Leads, and Contracting Officers will be available to discuss and/or answer questions related to the C4ISR Phase II Program; which will be issued through multiple solicitations available for download on the Federal Business Opportunity website at www.fbo.gov. Set-aside programs will be considered (i.e., Small Business, 8(a), Hub Zone, or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business) in accordance with FAR Part 19. Bonding will be required. Currently, the Phase II program is comprised of the following projects (all of which are presently in the design phase). Project values provided are for information only and may not reflect the final programmed amount: New Building A ($185M) - Construction solicitation scheduled to advertise in January 2009; award projected in March 2009. The project consists of approximately 650,000 total SF including (but not limited to IT laboratories, administrative space, SCIFs, conference rooms, mechanical rooms, roads, parking lots, and demolition. New Building B ($70M) - Construction solicitation scheduled to advertise in April 2009; award projected in June 2009. The project consists of approximately 125,000 total SF including (but not limited to) IT laboratories, administrative space, high bay, conference rooms, mechanical rooms, hardstands, and parking lots. New Building C ($35M) - Construction solicitation scheduled to advertise in April 2009; award projected in June 2009. The project consists of approximately 115,000 total SF including (but not limited to) IT laboratories, administrative space, conference rooms, mechanical rooms, hardstands, and parking lots. Bldg. 5100 Renovation ($15-20M) - Construction solicitation scheduled to advertise in June 2009; award projected in October 2009. The project consists of approximately 90,000 total SF including (but not limited to) IT laboratories, administrative space, test labs, and conference room space. Warehouse ($8-10M)- onstruction solicitation scheduled to advertise in April 2009; award projected in June 2009. The project consists of approximately 60,000 total SF including (but not limited to) administrative space, warehouse space, hardstands, and parking lots. Infrastructure ($5-15M) - Construction solicitation scheduled to advertise in Oct 2008; award projected in Jan 2009. The project includes but is not limited to: demolition, site work, road work, traffic signals, upgrade to existing sewer pump station, relocation of an electric sub-station, utility work - to include relocation, hardstands, and parking lots. This project may be further broken down into separate solicitations - ie., Sub-station, pump station, and early demolition/site work.
