- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors to provide: 20 EA, APPLE MACBOOK CONFIGURED AS: 2.4 GHZ 2 GB RAM 160 GB HD DOUBLE LAYER SUPER DRIVE ADDED OPTIONS: APPLE MINI DVI TO VGA ADAPTER. 20 EA, APPLECARE PROTECTION FOR MACBOOK. 3 EA, APPLE MACPRO CONFIGURED AS: TWO 2.8GHZ QUAD-CORE INTEL XEON 8GB (4X2GB0 RAM 1ST HARD DRIVE 1 TB 7200-RPM SERIAL ATA 3 GB/S 2ND HARD DRIVE 1 TB 7200-RPM SERIAL ATA 3 GB/S VIDEO ADAPTER ATI RADEON HD 2600 X T 256 MB ONE 16 X SUPERDRIVE APPLE MIGHTY MOUSE APPLE KEYBOARD (ENGLISH) + USER GUIDE. 3 EA, APPLECARE PROTECTION FOR MACPRO. 3 EA, LEOPARD UPGRADE (THIS IS A SEPARATE SYSTEM). 1 EA, FINAL CUT STUDIO 2. 2 EA, APPLE REMOTE DESKTOP 3.2 (UNLIMITED MANAGED SYSTEMS). 25 EA, MS OFFICE 2008 MAC. 3 EA, APPLE CINEMA HD DISPLAY (23" FLAT PANEL) The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written request for quotation will not be issued. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses The associated small business size standard is 500 employees. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-08-0277. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to the Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 14th & C Street SW, Washington, DC 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due August 08, 2008. Quotations may be faxed to Diane Rollins at (202) 874-3135 or transmitted via e-mail to diane.rollins@bep.treas.gov.
