- SPACE PLANNING AND DESIGN SERVICES SOLICITATION The purpose of this modification/amendment is to post Questions and Answers. Questions and Answers 1. Is there currently an incumbent contractor performing this work? A-No 2. If there is an incumbent contractor, can you please provide the name of that firm? A-N/A 3. Must phase in transition/training and orientation COSTS under the “Continuity of Services” Clause 52.237-3 be incorporated as part of the Cost Proposal Submission? A-There should be no such costs. 4. For Cost Proposal preparation purposes, please confirm that there will not be any travel costs involved regarding visits to other NLRB site or office locations. If travel is involved, what is the approximate number of off site locations NLRB anticipates? A-Travel is not required. 5. Does The Agency provide the required AutoCADD System 2008 Software? This information was not indicated under the Section-Government Furnished Equipment/Government Furnished Items? A-Yes. 6. Please clarify what is meant by “Market Surveys” as specified under “OBJECTIVES” in the Solicitation-does this involve property/real-estate/lease surveys and/or office furniture? A-Market surveys include performing walk through inventory services. 7. Under the contract-must the contractor prepare bid packages for the government? A-No. That is a General Services Administration function. 8. Does NLRB maintain a small business liaison office/POC-if so-can provide the name and contact information for that person? A-The NLRB does not maintain a small business liaison office. 9. We do not anticipate having a specialist to begin working with NLRB until September 1, 2008. Would this be an acceptable start date? A-The Awardee will need to start work as soon as award is made. 10. We are requesting that this solicitation be extended for a week as we are waiting for our key personnel to respond to our letters of commitments. We would greatly appreciate if you could grant this extension. A-The solicitation will not be extended.
