- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to demolish approximately 12,392 linear feet of fencing. The contractor shall install 13,561 linear feet of 8 foot, 9 gauge industrial grade chain link fencing, with fence posts and support poles 3 inches in diameter and 100 foot O.C. Posts to be placed every 10 feet. The fencing will be capped with 3 strands of barbed wire on double outriggers. The fencing will surround 9 different areas at Fort Hunter Liggett, and will include 14 gates of various dimensions in Jolan, CA. All work shall be done in accordance with the Statement of Work included in the upcoming solicitation. The period of performance will be one hundred twenty (120) days after notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code, SIC code and size standard for this procurement are 238990/1799 $13,000,000.00. Pursuant to FAR 19.5, this acquisition is set aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) business concerns. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit bids. Only one award shall be made. Interested HUB Zone concerns can view and download the bid package which will be numbered W9124N08B0008 from fedbizzops. (www.fbo.gov) in approximately 15 days (on or around 25 July, 2008) The bid opening date has not been established at this time but will be annotated in the final released Invitation for Bid.
