- NAICS Code: 334513 NAICS Code: 334513 The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Acquisition Management Section, Region 4, 61 Forsyth Street, Atlanta, GA 30303, intends to award a sole source fixed price purchase order to Environmental Sample Technology, Inc. (EST) located in Fairfield,Ohio, based on the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR) part 6.302-1 for the following items: (1) One Model 8100 AutoSampler, (2) One Minimizer, (3) One Archon Install Kit, (4) One Encon Evolution, and (5) One EV Sample Heater. Autosamplers must be able to hold 40mL VOA purge and trap vials and must be compatible with the EST minimizer system. The purge and trap autosampler must have 81 sample tray positions. All of these components together provide a sample delivery system. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE. EST is the only known source providing supplies that are able to satisfy agency requirements. However, any firm believing itself capable of meeting these requirements may submit technical documentation to establish potential of providing the system. Any such documents must be submitted within 15 days of electronic posting of this notice(August 14, 2008). This synopsis for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal action based on responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed on a sole source basis. This announcement is not a solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a solicitation will not be issued.
