- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The solicitation number is 08TC544 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and DFARS change notice 20080721. This purchase is restricted to 100% Small Business concern. The NAICS code is 333412 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is a brand name or equal requirement for fans; state discount terms and warranty information. The contractor shall provide the following items: Item 0001: QTY: 5 EA Powerfoil Warehouse Fan (Model # P24 or equal) 24 Foot, 1 HP, 1750 RPM, 230/460 Volt. Item 0002: QTY-1 EA, Powerfoil Warehouse Fan (Model # P18 or equal) 18 Foot, 1 HP, 1750 RPM, 230/460 Volt. Item 0003: QTY-2 EA, Powerfoil Warehouse Fan (Model # P16 or equal) 16 Foot, 1 HP, 1750 RPM, 230/460 Volt. Item 0004: QTY-2 EA, Powerfoil Warehouse Fan (Model # P6 or equal) 6 Foot, 1 HP, 1750 RPM, 230/460 Volt. Item 0005: QTY-10 EA, Installation per fan. NOTE: IF QUOTING EQUAL ITEMS PLEASE INCLUDE EXTENDED DESCRIPTIONS AND AVAILABLE PICTURES OF ITEMS. Ship To: 37th LRS, ATTN: Ruben Cuellar, Building 5160, Lackland AFB TX 78236. Quote should include descriptive literature and must be effective through 30 Sept 08. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies; quotes will be evaluated based on most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors are stated in relative importance and shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1. technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement for Warehouse Fans or equal; 2. Price; 3. Delivery Date (see FAR 15.304). 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds (Apr 1984); Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, contractors must have current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) database at http://orca.bpn.gov.
