- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm, fixed-price quotes are requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Solicitation number DLQ080055. This document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. Request for quote for the following Fence Materials: The line item numbers are: Line Item 0001. Steel Fence Posts, 12,600 each, 5'-6" length, painted all green, "T" bar type with rounded knobs spaced 2" apart. Steel posts shall be manufactured from wrought, rail or new billet steel and shall weigh a minimum of 1.33 pounds per foot exclusive of the anchor plate. Anchor plate shall weigh a minimum of 0.67 pounds, shall be a minimum of 18 square inches in area and shall be welded or riveted securely to the post so that the top of the plate wings are 16" from the bottom of the post. Steel posts shall be in accordance with ASTM Specification A702-89. Posts shall be packaged in bundles of five each with 40 bundles banded together on skids. Steel clip-type wire fasteners shall be designed for use with specified post. Punched tabs for fastening wires shall not be accepted. Fasteners shall be bagged in packages of 100 each. Wire fence stays, 20,000 each, 36" long, class III galvanizing, 100/bundle. Line Item 0005. Wood gate stays, 450 each, shall be minimum diameter 2" and maximum diameter 3" at a length of 4'-0". Shall be free of bark, ends cut square, and shall be within one-inch of specified length. Posts must be sound, small seasoning checks are permitted. Wood Gate Stays Shall be bundled in 25 per bundle. Line Item 0006. Barbed Wire-Roll, 378 Each, 12.5 gauge, Minimum Class I galvanizing, 950 pound minimum breaking strength, 2 ply twisted, 2 point barbs, 80 rod roll, must meet or exceed ASTM specification A-121-86. Line Item 0007. Barbless Wire-Roll, 192 each, 12.5 gauge, Minimum Class I galvanizing, 950 pound minimum breaking strength, 2 ply twisted, 80 rod roll, must meet or exceed ASTM specification A-121-86. Line Item 0008. Steel Pipe Post 2", 300 each, 21'x2" (2-3/8" OD) SCH 40 Black Pipe, Cut into 7' sections Posts shall be packaged in bundles of 50. Line Item 0009. Steel Pipe Brace Post, 425 each, 21'x1-1/4" (1-5/8" OD) SCH 40 Black Pipe, Cut into 8' Sections Posts shall be packaged in bundles of 50. Line Item 0010. #4 Rebar, 300 each, 2' Length, Rebar Shall be in bundles of 25. Line Item 0011. 2 3/8" Regular Brace Band Clamps, 500 Each. Line Item 0012, Barbed Wire - Roll, 1500 Each: 12.5 gauge, Minimum Class I galvanizing, 950 pound minimum breaking strength, 2 ply twisted, 2 point barbs, 80 rod roll, must meet or exceed ASTM specification A-121-86. Line Item 0013, Barbless Wire - Roll, 1000 Each: 12.5 gauge, Minimum Class I galvanizing, 950 pound minimum breaking strength, 2 ply twisted, 80 rod roll, must meet or exceed ASTM specification A-121-86. Line Item 0014, Steel "T" Posts, 5'6", 18,000 each: The posts shall be solid green with white or gray tops. "T" bar type, with a welded or riveted anchor plate. Steel posts shall be manufactured from wrought, rail, or new billet steel, and shall have a minimum weight of 1.33 lb/Lin ft. The anchor plates shall weigh a minimum of 0.67 pounds + 5% and be a minimum of 18 inch2 in area. More than one award may be made under this solicitation. Quotes will be evaluated on technical capability, price, and past performance with the level of importance of price and past performance being the same. Past performance will be based on the Contracting Officer's knowledge, contactor provided references, and other reasonable sources.
