This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTATIONS are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is AG-04N0-S-08-0010 and this requirement is being issued as a Request for Quote. The procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 331210 - small business size standard is 1000 employees. The USDA Forest Service, Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, R-6 Central Oregon Area, Ochoco National Forest, 3160 NE Third St. Prineville, OR 97754. The scope of work consists of supply and delivery of (1) Steel Structural Arch and (1) Aluminum-alloy Structural Plate w/fasteners. Technical Specifications: (Quantities - 1 of each) 6’-0” Span, 3’-2” Rise, Structural Arch,.125” Aluminum,.109” Steel 707.05 Steel Structural Plate Structures. Furnish structures and assembly fasteners for connecting plates conforming to AASHTO M 167 for the sizes and types specified. The galvanized steel structural plate structure shall consist of plates and appurtenant Items which shall conform to the requirements of AASHTO M 167 ASTM A 761. All manufacturing processes including corrugating, punching, curving and galvanizing shall be performed within the United States using raw materials made in the United States. Assembly bolts and nuts shall be galvanized and meet the provisions of ASTM A 449, Type 1, and ASTM A-563, Grade C, respectively. TOTAL $_____________________ 11’-11” Span, 3’-7” Rise, Structural Plate Box,.175” Aluminum 707.06 Aluminum-Alloy Structural Plate Structures. Furnish structures and assembly fasteners for connecting plates conforming to AASHTO M 219 for the sizes and types specified. The aluminum structural plate structure shall consist of plates and appurtenant items which shall conform to the requirements of AASHTO 219 and ASTM B 746. The corrugated plate (and ribs if required) shall be curved and bolt hole punched at the plant. Plate thickness and rib spacings shall be as indicated on the plans. All manufacturing processes including corrugating, punching, curving and galvanizing shall be performed within the United States using raw materials made in the United States. Bolts and nuts shall conform to the requirements of ASTM A307 or ASTM A449. TOTAL $________________________ DELIVERY: After notice of award the vendor will have 45 days to deliver the equipment to the Government at US Forest Service, LaMonta Compound, 1175 N LaMonta Rd., Prineville, OR 97754.
